A Rolling Stones ma a világ egyik legrégebben működő rockzenekara, még ma is készítenek felvételeket és turnéznak. Gyakran a Stones turnéja az adott év anyagilag legsikeresebb koncertkörútja, új albumaik pedig rendre az amerikai Billboard 200 slágerlista első öt helyezettje között vannak.








A Stones több mint negyvenéves pályafutása során Mick Jagger, Keith Richards és Charlie Watts mindvégig az együttes tagja volt. Lemezeikből világszerte több mint 200 milliót adtak el.
A Rolling Stonest 1989-ben iktatták be a „Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”-be, a Rolling Stone magazin „Minden idők 100 legjobb előadója” listáján a negyedik helyre kerültek.[ wiki

The Pig Paper #12

Author: Gary Pig Gold      Pig Paper 12 was the second pocket issue. A unique vertical design for the zine. This issue features pieces on the Beach Boys, Motown, the Rolling Stones, Marianne Faithful, a Jan and Dean centrefold, John Lennon, and Public Image Limited. This issue came out in March 1980.

On 10th november 2006 Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf publishers Berlin presented their latest book "The Rolling Stones, Gered Mankowitz, Photos 1965-67" at the Berlin Rock Photo Gallery.Phototographer Gered Mankowitz, being 19 years old back then, had the chance to tour with the Rolling Stones on their first big tour of the USA back in 1965. His book features pictures from a period when the Stones weren't the biggest Rock'n'Roll band of all times yet, but some group of musicians who sometimes had to wait for their performance in some smelly locker room of some sports arena.Gered Mankowitz happened to capture some very rare moments which make this photographic documentary some must have for every Rolling Stones fan. For more info check out the website (link)Our video captures some moments of the opening night on november the 10th which saw Gered Mankowitz as special guest, signing his book and telling some interesting stories from back in the days.
